BCC or CPC Applications · Verification of Experience Form

 

The Barnabas Institute offers two coaching verification packages (subject to enrollment) for CPC or BCC candidates needing assistance with the 

Verification of Experience requirement.

(NOTE: For CPC and BCC application purposes, CPC and BCC Candidates must complete at least thirty (30) hours of post-degree coaching services. The completion of these service hours must be verified by a professional coach, professional colleague, or supervisor who is able to personally confirm the candidate’s coaching experience. This coaching experience must be documented on the applicable  Coaching Experience Form and submitted with the Application.)

1. Coaching Verification Package for required Verification form verifying 30 Hours of Coaching Experience - $150:

A Coaching Verification of Experience Package is offered for CPC or BCC Applicants who have completed the GFC 30, 60 or 120 hour training Courses and seek verification of 30 hours of professional coaching experience for the CPC or CCE Required Verification of Experience form.

• The Coaching Verification Package includes three (3) video or telephone coaching supervision sessions (up to 20 minutes each) which are typically completed after the CPC or BCC Applicant has concluded 10 hours of independent coaching experience. Participation in at least one verification session is required for verification. Verification sessions will typically be scheduled between 9 am and 4 pm CT based on availability or at other times that work for all participants. Verification sessions may include one or more CPC or BCC candidates depending upon scheduling availability.

• CPC and BCC Applicants must independently identify and enter into coaching agreements with their coaching clients in order to participate in the verification of experience process.

• The CCE required Verification of Experience form will be provided by the Professional Coach upon successful completion of at least one coaching verification sessions and submission by the CPC or BCC Candidate of a written log documenting the Applicant's completion of 30 hours of coaching experience detailing the first name of the coaching client, the date and length of the coaching session and a brief description of the type of coaching provide. An example log is available if preferred.

2. Coaching Experience Exchange (CEE) Verification Package - $299:

The CEE Verification Package is offered (subject to participant enrollment) for CPC or BCC Applicants who have completed or are currently enrolled in one of our approved, professional coach training programs and seek coaching experience and verification of 30 hours of professional coaching experience for the required Verification of Experience. The Terms and Conditions for the Coaching Experience Exchange are below:

• BCC Candidates who are currently enrolled in a level 301 or 401 training course are eligible to enroll in the optional CEE Verification Package.

• CEE programs last up to 3 months provided that multiple professional coach participants or volunteer clients have enrolled in the program.

• Each CEE peer coach participant (PCP or PCPs in the plural) must be willing to commit up to 4 hours per week on average to the coaching exchange process. Each PCP will gain 8 to 10 hours of coaching experience per month and will serve as the client for a peer coach for 8 to 10 hours per month during the 3-month term.

• Depending upon the number of PCPs enrolled in the coaching exchange, peer coach/client assignments may be changed after 10 coaching sessions. NOTE: If non-peer client volunteers enroll for coaching, the duration will include one initial consultation and up to five coaching sessions. The coach and non-peer client may agree to extend the coaching relationship beyond five sessions upon mutually agreeable terms.

• The CEE Facilitator (a Board Certified Coach) will assign the coach/client partners. Each coach and client will schedule dates and times of their coaching sessions.

• PCPs may attend an optional video conference (up to 20 minutes each) with the CEE Facilitator to be scheduled each month based on availability of the participants. PCPs may ask questions or suggest discussion topics for group consideration. PCPs must participate in  at least one verification of experience video conference to complete the CEE Verification program. Video conferences may be recorded.

• PCP coaches must enter into coaching agreements with the PCP clients and/or volunteer coaching clients in order to participate in the CEE process. PCP clients agree to participate as a real client and the coaching sessions must involve real coaching topics and goals.

• The  Verification of Experience form will be provided by the Verification Coach upon successful completion of at least one coaching verification video or phone session and submission by the CPC or BCC Candidate of a written log documenting the Applicant's completion of 30 hours of coaching experience.
